What your dog learns
Basic obedience: sit, down, stay, recall, place command, heel work, leash work.
House manners: calmness in the house, place command, threshold respect.
Advanced: off-leash reliability.
Private training
What it is: One hour a session, usually once a week. You learn the handling while your dog learns the work, because you are the one on the other end of the leash once training is over. Packages of 3, 6, or 12 sessions.
Who it suits: Owners who want to do the work themselves and will practise between sessions.

Day training
What it is: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Instead of your dog spending the day in a crate while you are at work, it spends the day here learning. Think of it the way you would think of daycare, an outlet and something to do, except your dog is working the whole time. Dogs go home with you each evening, and there is no overnight option in this program.
Who it suits: People who work long hours and want their dog to have something better to do than wait.

Board and train
What it is: Your dog stays here for two, three, or four weeks and works every day. Boarding is included.
Who it suits: Owners who need more progress than a weekly session allows.

AKC Canine Good Citizen testing
What it is: AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, for all CGC series of testing and titles. Open to anyone, whether or not your dog has trained here.
Who it suits: Owners who need a CGC certificate for their dog.
